Dance school of the week - The Rebecca Florey School of Dance October 03 2014

The Rebecca Florey School of Dance have had a busy time lately. Some of her pupils took their exams and I am pleased to report they smiled and danced beautifully.

Having qualified as a teacher in 2002 and following further training at the famous Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London, Rebecca set up her dance school.

The Rebecca Florey School of Dance has been established since 2009. They have recently expanded and can now offer Classical Ballet classes as well as their established Tap and Modern grades.

Rebecca teaches children from the age of 2 1/2. She runs a fun and educational ballet and tap class, progressing into primary once they reach 4 years old. Pupils have the option to dance for fun or take exams, we also do a show once a year.

The dance school runs classes in ISTD Ballet, Tap and Modern at Redcliffe Bay Hall, Portishead. From October 2014, Rebecca is starting Boys Street dance on a Tuesday. Get those knee pads ready! She is also running girls classical ballet on the same day.

There are currently places in her, ever popular, Baby ballet classes. These run on a Monday at 3pm and on a Saturday morning.

Rebecca has lots planned for the rest of the year, there have been rumours of a Tapathon, ballet by carols and more exams...
